British pubs and the consumption of alcohol?

i have been drinking booze legally since 1971 and i have seen a decline in numbers going to the pub/clubs so it is not them that is the problem the problem are the outlets that sell cheap booze so the younger generation just drink loads of cheap booze then they go to the pub/club and finnish their night out there as for any one causing trouble well that has all ways something that happens it is not a new thing so these goody two shoes who do not drink do not know what they are talking bout they just talk through there arses so when those on lower incomes enjoy them selves then they have to stop it preaching things like binge drinking kills people and that they can save 50 lives a year by raising the price per unit i mean just 50 people a year in a population of over 60.000.00 people sixty million people and they are only going to save 50 people what planet are they on why should i pay more for my beer and wine it sickens me to the core i drink but i do not go out and cause ny trouble i cn only afford to go out twice a fortnight as it is so put up the price of my pint is just going to stop me going out when i started drinking a pint of beer was about 8 pence now my pint is over 2 pint at my local club i can not afford to go to a pub at there prices but these people who say we should have a minimum price for booze are more than likely to be on over 60000 a year so they can afford to go out whenever they like
