How many lifes does a cat have?

A cat has one life. People say they have more then one because of their ability to fall or jump from high places, that a human or other animal would likely die, with little or no injury. That gives the appearance that they have more then one life. The reason they can jump or fall from high places because their small body size and low body weight softens the impact as they fall to the ground. I hope this helps!
