Why do people want to repeal the 2nd amendment?

First Im a Palin lover and she will win in 12, If all the guns in the world were destroyed then someone would want axes taken away, or maybe golf clubs since they have killed a few people too. Most people I know that hated guns are now buying them for protection for when the riots starts in the streets here as the Mideast. We are getting feed up as Palin said of those 500 some that control the whole Country all the time telling us whats best for us.
